On July 15, Shenkai celebrated the 30th anniversary of its establishment in the lecture hall of Shenkai Building. Chairman Li Fangying, President Zhang Enyu and other management heads attended the meeting, and all Shenkai employees celebrated this special moment of milestone significance together with blue suits.

Hosted by Board Secretary Wang Zhenfei, the celebration  kicked off in a promotional video titled “I Grow with Shenkai &I Contribute to Petroleum”.

Chairman Li Fangying first delivered a keynote speech titled “30 Years of Journey”. As one of the four founders of Shenkai, she has witnessed every stage of the Company’s growth: from the original intention of establishing Shenkai to the hardships of “domestic substitution”; from acquiring four state-owned enterprises in Shanghai for secondary entrepreneurship to successfully listing on China’s A-share market; from resisting the invasion of “barbarians” to the “era of partners”. She reviewed the magnificent thirty years of Shenkai with everyone. Finally, Chairman Li Fangying expressed gratitude to every person who has worked hard in Shenkai for the past thirty years and wished Shenkai a more brilliant and better future.

Employees are the cornerstone of the enterprise, and the achievements of Shenkai over the past thirty years are inseparable from the concerted efforts of its employees. At the event, a grand award-giving ceremony was held to present pure gold company badges to 57 “veteran employees” with over 20 years of service as recognition and gratitude for their contributions to the Company over the past 20 years.

At the meeting, the representatives of senior, middle-aged, and young employees from various industrial companies were invited to share their stories with Shenkai through salon discussions. They have joined Shenkai from 3 to 30 years ago and have gone through different stages of its development. Among them there are technical experts, market elites, versatile professionals, and industry leaders. They introduced their growth in Shenkai from a personal perspective, as well as their understanding and comprehension of the spirit of Shenkai, and raised expectations for themselves five years from now. Their wonderful sharing won bursts of applause from the audience.

30 employees passionately recited the original poem “30 Years” during the sand painting show, which showcased Shenkai’s 30-year growth path of grasping the pulse of the times, keeping up with the pace of the times, and the hardworking spirit of  Shenkai people.

At the end of the meeting, President Zhang Enyu delivered a keynote speech: “Next Decade of Shenkai”. In the future, Shenkai should seize several major historical opportunities such as opening industry policy, industrial upgrading, digital innovation, etc., and comprehensively transform into a high-tech enterprise to become a leader in industry transformation. In addition, he said that Shenkai should uphold the development of main business of the petroleum sector, focus on the development opportunities including new energy, scientific instruments, etc., and actively lay out new industries, which are the strategic mainline of Shenkai’s future development. He called on all Shenkai employees to make persistent efforts and strive to develop Shenkai into a world-class and competitive high-tech enterprise in ten years.

The celebration came to a successful conclusion with warm applause from the attendees. Afterwards, all people were driven to the cruise ship to participate in the 30th anniversary birthday party of Shenkai.

Two cruise ships carrying nearly 600 Shenkai employees and some retired employees slowly sailed out of the dock. At this moment, it was already full of happiness inside the cabin. With wine glasses in hands, they took photos on the deck amidst the dazzling scenery, or leaned against the railings to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Huangpu River.

The lights are shining brightly on both sides of the Huangpu River, and Shenkai’s giant LED shines among the high-rise buildings in  Lujiazui: “Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of Shenkai’s Establishment”, “Where there is oil, there is Shenkai”, “Safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly access to energy”.  Shenkai people witnessed the highlight moment of Shenkai shining in the Huangpu River with excitement and joy, and their faces were filled with pride---we grow together with Shenkai!
